Why are you interested in making a change?
- Questions regarding prior experience in my field - What and how. - What are your ideas on specific job related tasks, how would you solve those problems. - What do you wish for from your employer? - What do we need to do to create a great surrounding for you.
How will you provide training around Leadership to managers? How will you work on salary grid and career path?
Why do you want to leave your organisation?
What motivates you at work?
The phone interview questions focused mainly on my skills and experience to check my fit for the role. The first onsite interview was with the hiring manager and was a more in-depth discussion about my experience, reasons for applying, and future plans. In the technical interview I was given some work scenarios to discuss and complete with a technical expert, and finally there was an interview with a manager from another team to provide an independent assessment of how well I would fit with the company culture.
All very basic questions mostly about my background and past experiences. The information shared by the recruiter was unclear and she couldn't answer any of my questions about the organization or role. As the call went on the information she shared about the position completely contradicted details she shared earlier in the call. When I asked for clarification she became defensive and dismissive, it was really confusing and a total turn off.
Mostly about my process in working with people, employee relations, etc.
