Questions were asked in the range of optical engineering and basic engineering knowledge. Some of the questions were competency based.
Almost no gotcha or difficult Optics questions. They just went over my resume and talked how are you tackled various issues. Looks like they had already made up their mind to hire me. None of the engineers seemed motivated.

have you worked with any optoelectronic devices ? (This question was at the last part of the interview, seems like the interviewer has no idea that sensors and lasers which we already talked about are already optoelectronic devices !)
