francesca's interview questions

I got a call the day before asking to come in for an interview. The store manager was very flexible with the time, so I ended up going into the store right when it opened. The district manager was also there, so I was interviewed by both of them at the same time. The DM drilled me with questions and the SM simply went over "Francesca's Promise" with me. After that they took me out to the store front and told me to choose one article of clothing I hated and one article clothing I loved and then sell them both to the SM. Then the DM told me she wanted a new outfit for a party and asked me to dress her. After both role plays, they told me things they liked and things they didn't like. Definitely dress classy and semi professional. I made the mistake of wearing shorts and a top and the DM called me out on it. They have a couple more interviews today, so I didn't get the job on the spot. Still have to wait and see.

I thought the interview process would be more rigid since I happened to be applying for a management position. It was a little too lax with limited questions directed toward getting to know if the candidate would fit in personality wise. The DM would not answer straight-forward about the work culture which is important.
