I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at eBay (San Jose, CA) in Mar 2021
Interview
eBay sent me a job prospect for a new project, where they were looking for a full stack engineer, with a nice tech stack.
They told me I only had to do one exercise and one interview.
I did the exercise, which seemed easy for what they were asking, and then DURING the interview they told me they needed something completely different... we're talking from a React Sr. + Node Sr full stack dev, to maintaining a 15+ old html site, with JS pre-ES6, and front-end only.
They used a bait and switch strategy, wasted everybody's time, changed the interview time twice and forgot to send the updated invitation.
The interview itself was one of the lousiest interviews of my life, asking simple HTML markup questions to somebody who already did the technical exercise, and with 10+ years of web development.

Question 1
Simple HTML markup questions, standard CSS questions, and some JS questions.
Two back-to-back virtual interviews. 45 Minutes Each. The Interviewers were very nice. The conversation flowed easily and they made me feel very comfortable. They answered all my questions and overall, the process was very efficient.

Question 1
What is one accomplishment on your resume that you are proud of?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at eBay (Londres, Inglaterra)
Interview
Absolutely ridiculous number of stages for a contract role.
1. Phone interview (not a screening call)
2. Live SQL test
3. Business case questions
4. Presentation
5. Video interview with a project manager
6. Video interview with a project director
7. Final stage interview with director (at this stage I took an another offer elsewhere)
Unnecessary and total waste of time.
