It was digital design role. They asked cascode mosfets and questions on that.
I got lot of questions on async designs. Was surprised since was a new grad when I interviewed at Qualcomm, however were not that diffcult to answer. Was surprised there was very little focus on Architecture related questions as compared to other semiconductor companies I have interviewed in the past.
what is setup time? what is hold time? what is clock skew? what is clock latency? what is sequence detector?
what's the frequnecy you used for your design, how did you tested your design. Explain area speed trade off situation you met in your design
Was asked some bit manipulation question. Questions on how operating systems were loaded and context switching. Basic algorithms questions such as fibonacci sequence, pointer manipulations, memcpy and other pointer arithmetic based questions.
Explain the sequence of events from the time a key is pressed on a keyboard to a character appearing on the monitor.
