adidas Assistant Manager interview questions

I applied online via Career Portal of adidas group. At first it was all extremely rapid: the day after submitting online application I was contacted by HR, got 20-minutes phone interview, which was pretty relaxed. I've received the information about the interview process, expected workflow and had to tell a bit about myself. 3 days later I've got an invitation for a Skype call with future manager. It had to be postponed, though, because the manager was too busy on another meeting that day. Even before the Skype talk I was invited to come to Herzogenaurach for an interview with HR and future manager, and received a case study (moodboard about oneself and store design) to work on. The case study was pretty demanding, considering the applicant normally still works somewhere else and has to work on it late evening or nighttime. At the day of my interview in Herzo they told me they're asserting me for 2 positions: assistant manager and manager. The interview was good, no standard HR questions, but rather like a talk among friends. Everyone was nice and the atmosphere on the Campus was just amazing. Finally, even though I was promised that they will get back to me within 2 weeks, there was no answer nor any status update. After couple of messages I was said I was not the choice for the manager position, and was too overqualified for the assistant position.

very clear structured process with expectations clearly set. Meeting people on site was very helpful and there was a good first impression of the job and the company given. Overall a great experience with a lot of insights and great people to meet.
