I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ZoomInfo in Apr 2023
Interview
Initially did an assessment, got reached out to by a recruiter. His accent was very hard to understand and it was only a 5 min interview screen. After he set up the interview with the sales manager, I never heard from the recruiter again. Interviewed with the sales manager, they were very nice but described working on their team as a grind and that many employees worked 50+ hours a week to be successful. They do new hire training every 2 weeks so it seems like they must have a lot of roles and turnover. Overall seems like a good company to work for but doesn't sound like there is a lot of work/life balance. Received a generic rejection email from a noreply@zoominfo address which is frustrating considering some people like to get feedback.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at ZoomInfo (Denver, CO) in May 2023
Interview
I met with the hiring manager as a referral, then met with the recruiter, then met with the hiring manager again, then the Director. After that was a mock presentation. Several times I had to remind the hiring manager for the recruiter to get in touch with me for next steps, and the recruiter ruined my week by giving me indicators that I would receive an offer by x day, and then I didn't hear back for several days and finally had to reach back out myself to find out they did not want to move forward.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at ZoomInfo
Interview
Very selective 3 step interview process that includes an initial call with a sales recruiter, who will determine if it makes sense to set up a Zoom interview with a manager or director, and if that goes well, they’ll schedule you for a “mock pitch” where your skills will be put to the test. Throughout the process, I had the pleasure of working with Heather Campbell, who was by far the most thorough, communicative, and helpful sales recruiter I’ve ever worked with. She went above and beyond in preparing me for each step of the process, setting clear and proper expectations, and was very quick to communicate feedback or next steps. She also went the extra mile for me by placing me with another team that was a better fit for me after it was clear the initial team I had interviewed with wouldn’t work.

Question 1
Most important interview is the last one where you will be asked to do a “mock pitch” with a slide deck. They are looking for you to prove that you can conduct thorough discovery, connect our solution to their problems/goals, and close on next steps.
