Interview
I was given two interviews: a brief one with the general manager of the store, and one with the district's HR rep. The first interview took place at the store I was to be hired at, and the second, which lasted over an hour and a half, took place at a different location over an hour away.

Question 1
Many of the questions were very behavioral, and I could tell he was looking for a very specific answer. The most challenging ones had me working through solutions to postion-specific scenarios I hadn't yet experienced.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at World Market
Interview
It was a multi-interview process that took over a month in total. Each version was fairly straight forward, two of them were on the sales floor at different stores while two were in the manager's office of the store I applied at. They were laid back, even the District Manager. They were assessing my knowledge but were more interested in my personality for the role rather than just experience and book smarts. It took a long time to hear back from them but in the end it all worked out.

Question 1
What is one example of how you went above and beyond for a customer?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at World Market (Newport News, VA) in Aug 2016
Interview
Interviewed for one store, then got a call saying that another store had filled their supervisor position, but then asked if we talked about the store supervisor position that I already interviewed for. Now, they just reposted the listing that they told me was filled. Clearly, they lack organization and communication skills. I chose not to continue the process.
