It has 4 stages: pair programming, system design, product view and engineering culture. It is nice they are really fast to get back to you and they give you lots of feedback after it.

How to design a tick tack toe so it is multiple user, distributed, fault tolerant and resilient.

Interview
The initial stages of the interview process are impeccably orchestrated, creating a facade of professionalism and a welcoming company culture. The tech recruiter is remarkably responsive, providing detailed explanations and maintaining a swift and engaging pace. This initial positive experience, however, appears to be a calculated tactic to draw in senior talent. What begins as a promising engagement with a seemingly progressive FinTech leader descends into a deeply troubling and exploitative ordeal for seasoned Data and AI specialists. The interview process for strategic leadership and specialist roles at Wise is, in my experience, a thinly veiled mechanism for sourcing free, high-level consulting to solve their complex internal bottlenecks.

Question 1
After a series of congenial introductory calls, the process pivots dramatically. I was presented with a highly specific and intricate business problem that the company is evidently grappling with—a sophisticated challenge related to cross-border transaction optimization and fraud detection in emerging markets. This was not a hypothetical case study; it was a real-world, data-intensive problem that required a significant investment of time and intellectual property to architect a viable solution.
Following this extensive "consulting session," the curtain of their "awesome culture" abruptly fell. The previously diligent and communicative tech recruiter vanished, and my existence was seemingly erased from their records. Multiple follow-up emails were met with a deafening silence. This "ghosting," as it has become colloquially known, is not only profoundly unprofessional but also deeply disrespectful of the time and expertise senior candidates bring to the table.
Hackerrank test, pretty basic: rest apis, sorting algorithms and SQL querying. It was pretty straightforward and exactly what you would expect for this company. This was a pre-assessment from what I have understood.
