I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Wise (Tallin) in Jul 2025
Interview
3 stages on interviews, smooth communication, every step was marked with the topics to prepare, and that was well in line regarding what was actually asked on the interview. The role was also described in a separate file, but I understand this is not how they recruit to every position, just the way it was done for that specific role

Interview
There are three stages - technical, technical/behavioural, and another technical. The first two are automated slop - DSA problems, rank behavioural scenarios etc., one video response. After doing them, you are only given a numerical score, no guidance on what to improve etc. The hiring team then took almost two months to sent me a rejection letter. Again without any details, no areas of improvement, nothing. Just 'not what we need right now'. I consider this a waste of time, as I didn't learn anything from this process.

Question 1
DSA problems, backend focus on API endpoints design. Another one involving a sliding window and hashing.
Contrary to what Wise stated on their career website, was ghosted by Wise after interview. The funny thing is I am more qualified than the hiring manager from a relevant work experience angle. Not sure if that is a factor.
