I applied online. I interviewed at Wise (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jun 2015
Interview
I had two on-site interviews, a Skype interview with their lead engineer and several catch-ups with my recruiter on the phone. I was asked some knowledge questions on Javascript that required a good understanding of basic concepts like coercion, closures, post/pre incrementation.

Question 1
Some of the questions were designed to see how quickly I could make sense of obfuscated and complex snippets of code. I had one design question. I was asked many cultural fits questions.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Wise (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jun 2015
Interview
First, they ask you to complete a coding challenge on HackerRank. Nothing to difficult, a few web technical questions and two coding problems.
Then, you get an answer from them in the following days and an invitation to a interview on site.
I got 3 interviews on site with different people from TransferWise: lead developer, developer, product marketing, VP of engineering. It was really friendly and was almost only quick discussions about technologies I used at work or on my projects, or how I would design an API for a product that does <insert something>. Also, they asked what would I change/add/delete in their product.
Finally, I got a interview with the CEO which is part of their process when recruiting full-time employee. Again, it was 30minutes chat about some projects I did, why I wanted to join TransferWise and what I would change in their product.

Question 1
Describe a high level overview of the API of a product like tumblr. How would you architect the API?

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wise (Tallin) in May 2014
Interview
They were quick to get in touch after I sent my application. HR was very friendly and enthusiastic. I was apologetically warned by everyone I met, that there would be 4 interviews.
First interview was with developers. That was a lot of fun - we brainstormed about possible new products and spoke about new trends on the market.
The second interview was with the manager to the position I was applying for. He was clearly unprepared and preoccupied with something else as kept taking phone calls during the interview. The questions were standard interview questions.
