Applied via LinkedIn.
They got in touch via email and we organised a Skype call.
The original interviewer could not make it and the department leader dialled in instead, which was fine by me, in fact, better.
However, I'm not sure why he was sitting on the floor with a vaguely bored approach and almost suggesting he didn't really want to be there.
The conversation was quite smooth, although I don't really rate companies who focus their interview process on a bunch of questions that sound original at first but you then realise they're pretty standard and quite dull.
We didn't touch my CV or past experiences at all. Weird.
I received a standard email saying that I wasn't going to move to the next stage. I asked for feedback and I was told I didn't have enough experience in building B2C digital products. That's odd, considering I have been doing that for more than 10 years, with excellent and proven results.
I'm glad I didn't make it, I wouldn't like working in what appeared to me an uninspiring environment lacking personality.
