I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Wise (Tallin) in Apr 2021
Interview
Not smooth. Take themselves too seriously for the money they pay. Not what I've heard of. Takes at least 1 month of an application process, not worth your time and effort. Even if they say experience is not their first priority, it is. Even for a junior position, they will prefer someone with at least 2 years of experience.

Interview
Not a good experience. I have interviewed with them a number of times. I have now realized that they give a lot of interviews almost as if they were all “mock” interviews to train their under competent new team leads with no intention of hiring you. If you have the qualities of an extreme socialist and give them what they want to hear then you may be hired. I felt as in two of my interviews I had the control which they hated. However, they didn’t have enough integrity and confidence to handle it. They twisted my answers a few times. What also confused me were the technical question in regards to IT and technology which made no sense for the role and my experience?
One of the interviewers was from Estonia and for some reason all the questions she asked that I followed up on she could not explain to me again. They were mostly technology related questions. Not sure where those came from.
Definitely a cult like environment. If you make the company look diverse you’ll probably be hired as well. Don’t waste your time this start up won’t last long. Also… they usually know within the first 5 minutes if you’re a hire so if you hear them start taking to you about all of the great benefits for the entire interview… you are not getting hired. And don’t forget this phrase at the end… “you’ll hear from us either way we won’t ghost you”.

Question 1
What data analytics would you use in order to enhance a project you’re working on.
Three rounds of interviews 1. Call with the recruiter to go through your experience 2. Call with the team. 50 minutes of them asking you canned questions one after the other without any context, barely a conversational interview and minimum effort from their side 3. Assignment to submit without any opportunity to present it. Was declined at this stage and refused feedback. Would not interview again.
