Interview
The process included several stages. CV screening, recruiter interview, technical interview, and a later stage discussion with senior team members. The process required significant time. The main concern was that the key expectation around deep platform domain experience appeared only at the late stage (pre final stage) of the process. Earlier stages did not clearly signal that platform specific leadership experience was a core requirement for the role. The feedback at the end focused heavily on platform domain depth and platform perspective, which could have been evaluated earlier. This created a situation where a candidate can invest large effort before learning about a fundamental mismatch in expectations.

What do you like with Wise?
Why do you want to leave your previous company?
HR would ask you to provide a write up of the how you bring in revenue, handling tech debt, hiring decisions and also technical solution architecture achievements in a 2 page document. If you apply for EL2, Wise would take a promise from you that based on the further interviews (if you are fortunate to reach the fina), they would decide whether one belongs to EL2, EL1, IC3 or IC4. And the salary would be decided based on this.
