The interview was focused on behavioral questions for the most part. None of it was really technical or experience based, It was split into two parts with two separate (HR?) people.
Interviewer was late to the interview, it was over the phone. She was very rude and didn't care about the interviewing me. Did every gotcha question you could think of. I told her flat out I was not interested in the position.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wells Fargo in Mar 2025
Interview
Applied online & was contacted rather quickly for a phone screen with the HR rep. I'm a former employee so am very familiar with their hiring process. However, what struck me as odd, I was informed by the HR rep the hiring manager decided not to move forward with my candidacy due to lack of tax experience. The experience the HR rep mentioned per the hiring manager I lacked was specific to the duties I utilize on an every day basis. The JD required 3+ years of that particular experience to which I have over 3 years. So immediately knew the response provided was deceitful. When the role is of high caliber "they" do not want a person such as myself fulfilling such role as employment disparities exist.
