I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Wayfair (Berlín) in Feb 2020
Interview
They initially reached out via LinkedIn, then scheduled the interview with a link. They did not call the first time and I had to reach out to reschedule. Initial call took place by phone.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Wayfair in Jul 2021
Interview
I talked to a recruiter who reached out to me on LinkedIn and then another recruiter from Wayfair. After that, I had a Google Meet interview with a hiring manager. She was 10 minutes late for the interview, but I thought it went good overall. My interview was on a Friday and I didn’t hear back from the recruiter until the end of the day on a Tuesday saying they were moving on with other candidates. I’m not sure what went wrong because I felt very confident with my answers and the interviewer made it seem like I was going to the next round of interviews.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Wayfair (Boston, MA) in Aug 2018
Interview
Initial phases went well via Zoom. The in person interview with manager level talent acquisition employee felt very cold and my interviewer had a hard time hiding his disinterest. They seemed very metrics focused and ask a lot of questions around number of placements and what those looked like in terms of revenue. (I was coming from an executive search
staffing agency) Culturally it would not have been the right fit for me based on the interview
