Was scheduled for a phone interview a week out. I received no call. Look at my email and interview is rescheduled for the following day. The following day I get a call an hour early and lady says she needs to reschedule again. She tells me she will call me that afternoon but doesn’t even give me an exact time and hangs up. No call was ever received and upon me emailing her no reply back. I am employed so I had to juggle my schedule several times for a phone interview that never happened. Super unprofessional to say the least.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wayfair in May 2018
Interview
The initial Interview was setup pretty quickly through their system, which was very streamlined. This was very positive. The recruiter conducted a telephone interview to discuss the role and my background, which lasted about 30-40 minutes. Following the interview, recruiter made a plan to respond on some information we discussed and she never did after saying I was a good fit for the role. Never heard from her and she never responded to my emails even after she told me to reach out. Very disappointing follow -up. Coming from someone in HR, not a good way to build a talent brand.

Question 1
The questions were pretty standard. They did ask what my salary expectations were?
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Wayfair (Mountlake Terrace, WA) in Feb 2018
Interview
I had two interviews that were great, then for my third interview they sent me an analysis on workman’s comp claims to test my knowledge. When that interview came there was A LOT of Math involved. I questioned whether or not this was for an accounting position. Any way, I passed so a 4th interview was set up to meet the site directors via Skype. I waited 1 hour and they never showed up!!! When I called the recruiter she said there were technical difficulties. I thought to myself “then call me!” she set up an interview for later that day and when the Site Director called me she apologized & said she had declined the invite because she was busy. I never found out why the other director didn’t show. Then they wanted me to interview with the HR associates. I really thought I had the job at this point, I guess I should have known when the HR generalist asked me how many FMLA cases I’ve had to deal with at one time. I said, “15”. Then she told me that there are 400 employees and 600 of them are on FMLA so the scope of what they’re dealing with is much larger than my experience.... HuH?!?
