Wayfair Data Science interview questions

2 phone calls, first with a recruiter and the next with a member of the team. The questions were fair and the discussion was informative. Most of the questions about my previous experience were simply to see if I could explain something technical in a way that others could understand. Not a lot of deep question on specific machine learning algorithms. I had other questions for the recruiter and she was always quick to get back to me. Afterwards I submitted a code sample and heard back a few days later to schedule a time to meet the team in person. 3 cases with current data scientists and a few one-on-one interviews with management. The cases typically presented some snippet of data alongside some questions about how to approach making a prediction model of some kind. The questions were pretty open ended. They were more interested in seeing how I approached the problem and if I could collaborate well in a group setting.

I was contacted a recruiter, had a phone call with basic introduction. The requirement was immediate and hence i was told to contact some other recruiter who would be interviewing for non-imediate requirements. Didn't hear back from anyone inspite of asking politely for the next steps.
