I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Wayfair (Boston, MA) in Jul 2017
Interview
3 rounds. 1st round is a basic HR round. The recruiter is very nice and more than an interview round it is about getting to know about the company. The second round consisted of some tricky data science questions regarding resume projects and a marketing case study (depends on which employee is taking your interview). The third round is on site consisting of many rounds talking to people from various fields at Wayfair. For me there were 2 case study rounds and 1 coding round.

Interview
HR screen followed by a technical phone interview with a data science manager. I was then invited to an onsite interview. The onsite interview consisted of meeting with 3 sets of 2 data scientists. I was asked to solve typical problems they work on at Wayfair and to solve a leetcode type problem on a whiteboard.

Interview
Two phone interviews with a recruiter and a data scientists. Then, a back to back 6 hours of interviews with the higher ranked managers in the data science department all the way to the data scientists. All were very nice - but it was too intensive for me - couldn't think at the end of the day.
