When I interviewed, the process consisted of three interviews, first with an hourly supervisor, second with an assistant manager, and third with either a co manager or the store manager. They were terribly disorganized when I interviewed. As a matter of fact, they didn't even have it listed that I was supposed to interview, so I actually had to sit outside the office for a half hour before someone took care of me. Once they finally took me back, I started the process. First one was with an hourly supervisor. It went pretty smoothly. Next, she had to call a salaried assistant. The one she called acted very angry that she was interrupting him. He was slumped back in his chair, made no eye contact with me, and sighed before reading each question. (I was thrilled to have him interview me....) Third was a co-manager. His questions were a bit more difficult, but still pretty basic. After each person asked questions, they rate you on a scale as to how you did. Each person entered their numbers into a computer. If you score high enough, you move on to the next interviewer. I believe this also determines your base rate of pay.
I don't know how it is other places, but people were constantly coming and going during my interview. It was noisy and hard to think.
Also, they are changing things up a bit. They will be starting panel interviews soon, meaning you will have at least three people interviewing you. Be prepared for that, and also, don't dress messy. Make sure you are clean, dressed nice, shaved, etc... because appearances will now matter.
