I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Verizon (Hyderabad) in Aug 2024
Interview
Hiring for freshers is only through their campus program, easiest interview I have ever given, it is meant to be easy since it's a outsourcing/service-based firm. Also location can be any HYD/BLR/CHN
1st round GD - they give you a topic and we all have to speak our minds one by one(they just want to test your english nothing else, they don't care about your ideas, only your comm)
2nd round Tech- depends what kind of interviewer you get some of my batchmates were asked DSA(very very basic stack LL operations), in my case the interviewer was a GenAI dev so he just asked my resume and checked my projects that were deployed(if your projects are visible/deployed it gives a very good impression) asked the concepts I used behind it, what did I do in my college life, what did I explore e.t.c.
3rd round HR (the usual questions, no need for elaborating)
