I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Verizon in Jun 2009
Interview
Very comfortable, phone interview was brief but we set up for a skills test, arrived at the test in business attire and didnt have to wait long, test was pretty straightforward telco skills but the feedback I recieved from the other applicants there was that they didnt know most the anwsers ( I think I only knew about half). A few days later I recieved a telephone call for a 1 on 1, that went fine with pretty basic questions, i.e. what would you do if a customer is being unreasonable, your hero, working on a team, etc. few days after that recieved a job offer!

Interview
I did a telephone interview that went really well. I also did a personal interview with store manager.
While waiting for the manager to interview me I wanted to leave. I did the interview with store manager. The questions were not that difficult but was not prepared for them. I lack from never doing interviews. The manager basically wrote down my answers without looking up at me.
The pay sounds great, but I do not think the job is for me.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Verizon (Atlanta, GA) in Oct 2007
Interview
they have a 8 page interview guide where they ask you questions to try and see how you respond and what experience you have. it can be difficult or easy depending on what mood the manager is in. They can be picky, so try to be very relaxed and friendly.
