The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon in Feb 2010
Interview
I applied to a listing on a popular job search engine. I was contacted by email for the actual interview offer. The actual interview was one on one with a recruiter first. I was completely thrown off by his non-chalant attitude adn limited eye contact. After that, I took another one on one with a store manager. Others were there giving interviews as well. Many reactionary questions were asked as well as questions about myself. After the interview was over, I recieved an email about a month later that basically said I did not get the position. Within about another month later I recieved a call offering me the position again and telling me all about the job the pay etc. I was told to take a drug test at a specific location within 48hours. I had to fax a signed form to allow them to proceed with the background check. I also had to fax W2 forms from 2 previous employers. I completed all of that. It has been over 2 weeks and I haven't heard anything from them.
I applied through college or university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Verizon (Basking Ridge, NJ) in Mar 2008
Interview
Hiring Process for me went really quick and smoothly. I was contacted by phone first and with in a week had a face to face interview. IN person interview was on a Friday and was offereed the job on Tuesday with an offer letter emailed to me the same day.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon (Saint Louis, MO) in Jul 2009
Interview
First there was a phone interview, pretty basic questions. Then I was call into there local headquaters for an interview w/ the HR rep. After that they set up a interview w/ the store manager. On all interviews they wanted to know if I was willing to work retail hours, my background and experiance. Was not very hard. Just need to show a desire to work hard and meet sales goals. They are very big on meeting goals.
