I got an email to schedule a phone interview after applying online. I had the first phone interview with a recruiter and was told at the end of the phone call that I was being put through to another phone interview with a regional recruiter. At the end of that phone interview, the recruiter told me that while they planned on filling that position prior to my available start date, he would like me to contact him sooner to my start date and he will put me through to a face to face interview in a city available that is close to my desired location. Before I had a chance to contact him, he called me a couple weeks later telling me that he thought a job opening would be of interest to me because it was right around the time of my start date. So I agreed to go through with the process. I was called by the district manager to set up a face to face interview, but due to my location at the time, he said we could do yet another phone interview. After that interview I got a call 3 days later with an offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What are three things that wireless companies use to win over customers.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon (Cranberry, PA) in Nov 2012
Interview
I applied online and was contacted by email that day to schedule a phone interview. I asked to be contacted only by phone but was contacted by email anyway so check your email anyway. The phone interview was basic, they had sent me some material to read before the interview, make sure you read it because they ask what you think of it. Then they schedule you for a computer assessment (which is the point I am at now) then another phone interview and then a face to face interview. They do want people who are just looking for any job until a better one comes along, they want good people who want to move up within the company.

Question 1
Tell me of a situation in which there was a problem and the way you would usually handle the problem did not work, what did you do?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon in Oct 2008
Interview
The interviewing process should be short. You will first meet with low level managers and then an HR rep. They care more about diversity than anything else. Once hired they will send you to training. some of the training will be useful, but most will not.
