I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at VMware (Palo Alto, CA) in Nov 2021
Interview
Very long interviews and I felt unreasonable questions were asked. To someone who has 20+ of core technology experience - I was sarcastically asked : "How do you keep yourself updated with technology?". The same interviewer (Engineering Head) tried to argue with me stating that product management frameworks and data driven approaches don't work!

Question 1
1. How do you keep yourself updated with technology?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at VMware in Mar 2022
Interview
I'm based in Russia. Besides CV and LinkedIn profile I explicitly wrote about my location and the need for H1B sponsorship to the recruiter.
The guy first scheduled a call but at the time of call, right after of the appointed time, wrote an email asking if we can reschedule... OK rescheduling...
Next time instead of calling at the appointed time the guy writes an email asking where I am located.
Horrible. Had an initial phone interview with recruiter. Heard about more than a month later that I didn’t make it to interview stage. Company has great perks and all but hiring process was a huge disappointment
