I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at VMware (New York, NY) in May 2015
Interview
It was very smooth. I applied through a recruiter. She managed the interviews slots pretty quickly and that too at my convenience. The interviewers were very not pushing much. The questions were kind of too deep into kernel. I suppose they were supposed to be as that is what they were specifically looking for.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at VMware (Atlanta, GA) in Aug 2014
Interview
very easy, nothing much to say. ask basic questions and were friendly. wanted to see what i knew about the company and my experience. nothing out of the ordinary, not crazy. lasted about 30 minutes. simple fun and easy. felt like I had the job when I left. would do it again. good luck on it!
