I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at VMware
Interview
The company sent a dear john note 6 months after I applied and reached out via LinkedIN. Completely pathetic and lazy. I had a friend who went through 7 interviews and then was declined the job, as they hired someone from within. Incredibly unprofessional and disrespective to say at least.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at VMware (Staines, Inglaterra) in Mar 2017
Interview
Complicated and not really well organized, people were well prepared but followed a script. Overall it was good. It took a 6/7 interview to got this sorted. All in all was a 3 month process
Interview process included 4 rounds(3 technical + 1 Managerial). The position was for Full Stack Developer. First round covered mainly JAVA and J2EE which went well.
2nd round was for UI this is from everything went crazy. The interviewer was not able to ask the question properly, he was not sure what he was asking, whenever i tried to understand and gave answers he would interrupt abruptly or started looking into his laptop without bothering to listen to the answer.
If listens to the answer he would argue i am not asking this. For some correct answers also he would argue its incorrect, Before posting the review i re-verified the answers which i gave, which are all correct.
3rd round was for design related questions. By this time basically they didn't wanted to hire but anyways took interview wasting my time.
This didn't end here, there was a managerial round as well where i spend close to 30 minutes explaining about myself, product. After listening to everything i spoke, then he told i am not suitable for this position.
One suggestion here, if you don't want to hire please tell it directly without taking anymore interviews.
This review doesn't reflect about the company, its those special individuals, every company have these special one's.
