VMware interview questions

Had a call with the hiring manager and a 1 hour tech screen.. Got a homework coding challenge. After passing that i got invited for an on-site interview.. Had a technical round and then met with the org director. scheduling and communication was great.

I interviewed with VMware for Bangalore location. There were 6 interviews in total over the span of 2-3 weeks. My performance in all the interviews were convincing and i got a call from the HR on very next day of my last interview saying i have cleared the interviews and as a next step she would like to discuss the compensation numbers. After the compensation discussion, she said she will get back with the offer letter within a week and that was the last time i heard from her, she basically ghosted on me after that day. I mailed her twice regarding the update but she did not even care to reply back. This was awful experience of interviewing with such a well known and reputed company like vmware. A candidate invests 3 weeks of his time for 6 interviews and at the end gets ghosted like this. I could see similar experience with other candidates as well with vmware. If such useless HR keep on working for vmware and follow such practices, god save the reputation of vmware.
