I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Unity (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2017
Interview
One of the recruiter had posted about the openings on LinkedIn and I contacted her. She set up a phone interview. The recruiter asked me about my experiences and background and gave me a small project. I got an On-site interview after 2 days of submission. There were 4 rounds in the On-site interview where I was interviewed about algorithms, data structures and various testing scenarios. I was explained their current system and asked to give them my ideas on how I would create a test plan for it. I was asked behavioral questions about my interest in Testing and Unity
Thanks for sharing your experience. Our expectations for recruitment are that the experience will be challenging, organized and quick! We hope that you are enjoying your time at Unity.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Unity (Montreal, QC) in May 2017
Interview
Approached by an internal recruiter on LinkedIn.
After a few messages, and a phone conversation, I have asked to do an online test.
It was a 2 hours test with 4 questions (easy to difficult)
After that, it was two on-site interview. The first one was technical with two leads. Questions about my background, software architecture and certain technologies that were part of job description. Plus a semi whiteboarding question with a few follow up questions.
The second interview was an HR interview. A few challenging questions, and a friendly talk.
After that two interview, I was invited for two more interviews. First one with my future team. A hybrid of a technical and cultural interview. And finally, an interview with my future manager (culture fit, etc.)
In general, the process was very professional and the interview timing was very flexible.
