I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Unity (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2019
Interview
Very nice and very cordial. I spoke to a lady who was very friendly. Unity seems like a great place to work and I think the company has high growth potential and seems to be positioning themselves well.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Unity (Edimburgo, Escocia) in Nov 2019
Interview
The overall process was clear and positive. It started with the video call screen from Unity recruiter who provided the background about Unity and also what they are looking for in the role. Then, he explained clearly about the process after the first interview. In my case, there is a code test, and then the second interview with the line manager and the lead software engineers. Once I passed all the interview and it looks positive. I have to provide them references from previous job for the final step. I've got a job offer not long after they contact my references. The technical recruiter, Lawrance, is very professional and stays on top of things. He has guided and updated me through the process at each step of the interview which is really helpful. So, I know what to expect in the next step. It's been a smooth interview process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They talked about my management experience, knowledge about data structure/algorithms, and other experiences mentioned in my CV.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Unity (Montreal, QC) in Nov 2019
Interview
Lengthy, but worth it. Steps:
1) Call with recruiter. This was mostly about the role and a discussion about the company
2) Video call with an interviewer on the team I was joining. This call was about 30min long and was more technical.
3) Online coding test (they used Codility) This was 2h long, 4 questions of increasing difficulty. Doing the exercise questions on Codility was good prep.
4) In person interview. This was 2.5h long. The first hour was a skill test, the second hour was with two others and was more personality based. More typical interview questions were asked. The last 30min was with the recruiter to review and discuss.
5) Provide references (they asked for 2 managerial and 2 colleague)
During this process, I asked a lot of questions and was in continual contact with the recruiter. Their guidance really helped to smooth out this process.

Question 1
For the first half of the in-person interview, I was asked to solve a customer bug report (since this would be the main aspect of the job I was applying for). I wasn't required to solve it in the hour we had, but they wanted to see my thought process.
