I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Unity (Londres, Inglaterra) in Apr 2021
Interview
1. Initial zoom call with the recruiter (Andy) was fantastic. I had a great discussion talking about myself, my current work and more about Unity. This part of the interview was overall very pleasant.
2. Second interview was with a manager. We got deep into the detail of projects I've worked on and my current role. Again, it was a very relaxed conversation and helped get me really interested in the role on offer. It was an absolute pleasure to discuss the role and life at Unity.
3. Technical #1 was a systems design interview. It was quite difficult, but the team at Unity made me feel less under pressure. It felt more like an open ended discussion that drilled down in to some details at various stages. I recommend reading up on distributed systems and how you would solve some problems around concurrency and latency, as these were areas that mattered.
I'm current between interviews and awaiting feedback, but decided to write this interview now as I'm not entirely sure of how well the technical went. There are apparantely 2 more steps to the process, including a coding test (using Codility or something similar) and a behavioural.
I'd expect that the coding test will be fairly straight forward if you've practiced data structures and algorithms.
Every step of the interview I was in contact with a fantastic recruiter that kept me in the loop and made sure I was aware of what was to come.
It really sounds like an amazing place to work, with a great UK salary and some fantastic benefits. If their current roles are interesting to you, then I definitely recommend applying!
Good luck!

Interview
The Unity interview process is extremely thorough, but when you read about Unity's hiring philosophy, this is very much in line with hiring 'A' people. The HR person I had assigned to me corresponded with me directly via text and was extremely responsive after each interview. I usually knew within hours whether or not I was proceeding. She was a true advocate for the company and sold the job to me in the first phone screen! I appreciated the peer interviews and enjoyed the case study component. There's definitely a time investment on the part of the interviewee, but it's all in the name of hiring the best candidate. The interviewers were fair and the interview questions were standard and straight forward.

Interview
Initial screening call followed by a codility test - the codility test comprised three short questions in 10 minutes. Did not pass the code test - found it to be very hard due to time constraint and did not match the sample tests I had taken first which allowed 20 minutes for a question. I had 3 minutes per question, so didn't feel it a fair or reasonable test of abilities for a junior role.
