I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Unilever (Englewood, NJ) in Dec 2010
Interview
The interview process consisted of 3 rounds. The first round was a 1:1 interview on campus at the career services office. The second round was a phone interview and the last round was called SUPERDAY. The night before SUPERDAY, the company has a dinner in a less formal setting. They also book a hotel for all the perspective interns. During SUPERDAY, you have to interview 1:1 with 3 different employers along with having to do a case study with a group of other interns. The process was a great experience and the compensation package is amazing.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Unilever (Róterdam) in Dec 2024
Interview
Two line managers from the team will interview you online for about 30 minutes. They are very nice people, and they really paid attention to your personal quality and proactiveness.
The interview process was quite rigorous. Starting from online assessments and a few behavioral questions. If it all works well, they will invite you to a super day at the office where you will meet with your future potential hiring managers.
I had an excellent interview experience. The process was incredibly smooth and well-organized from start to finish. The communication was clear, and the recruitment team was very transparent about what to expect at each stage. Interviewers were engaging and seemed genuinely interested in understanding both my skills and how I would fit into the team. I was particularly impressed with how respectful and considerate they were throughout the process, making sure I had all the information I needed and felt comfortable. Overall, it was a very positive experience that left me feeling respected and valued as a candidate.
