I applied in-person. I interviewed at Ulta Beauty in Sep 2013
Interview
I applied toward the end of July 2013 online as well as did the survey. Then I got a call sometime in mid August about the job interview. Now, the Ulta I applied for was not open it was still under construction so the manager told me to get interviewed at her location which was and arm and a leg away from me because I have no car currently. So, I agreed. Then later I called and asked her to transfer the interview to a location closer to me. And she gladly and ever so nice did. I really appreciated that. So, in my areas location I had my interview rescheduled twice but I kept in contact with both managers so they already knew who I was prior to the day I actually interviewed. Luckily, I loved the managers and apparently the feeling was mutual. And to cut the story, I got the job. Now, as for the interview process, they took me to the "back room" and it was a one on one. She was friendly, everyone was friendly we laughed made jokes...it didn't even feel like an interview.
She asked me 3 real questions.
1.) Tell me about yourself.
2.) Why Ulta?
3.) What do you have to offer?
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Ulta Beauty (Long Beach, CA) in Aug 2012
Interview
It was only one interview. The manager of the store ran the interview at a different ULTA location because the store i was interviewing for hadn't opened yet. She was really nice and asked the general questions. Lasted about 20 minutes. She called the following Monday with job
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ulta Beauty (Monroe, NY) in Aug 2013
Interview
Applied online in the beginning of August 2013 and received a phone call towards the end of the month for an interview. Went in for an interview on a Friday, spoke with the GM one on one and was told I should hear back within next week. I suggest before leaving the interview give the interviewer a copy of your professional résumé. If the interviewer gives you their personal card I would also suggest sending them a "Thank You" letter via E-Mail stating you appreciate their time and etc.
