I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Milwaukee, WI) in Jan 2014
Interview
Interview and hiring process was unusually long. 4-6 weeks from start to hiring date. Took online personality test at home first, then invited to take the Postal 473 exam battery downtown Milwaukee. Passed the exam, then had to do the drug test and background. Soon after invited for the interview, then group postal academy.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Houston, TX) in Sep 2014
Interview
I applied online, moments later received email to do an assessment on my personality and stuff. After that got an email to schedule to take the exam. (Very easy) I passed that. Then got an email to do drug and background check. I was invited to an hiring event where you go over your application you submitted and interviewed by a postmaster from different city. I think I did very well. I am now waiting on a email to do my finger prints and orientation dates. I'll come dp another review to follow up my process.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Reno, NV) in Jun 2015
Interview
It felt really unorganized because the company did not update their career website of any current status. I received a call for an interview after four months of completing the drug test, postal exam, and all other screenings. My online status remained "pre screening" mode even though I finally got the job. This company seems to not update any of the jobs you've applied for. I was still getting recruitment calls even though I was already training for the job.
