I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Los Angeles, CA) in Feb 2016
Interview
it was long, it took about 1 month to get to the interview. Once you get your interview you are there with about 100 people and then they start with the scare tactic
I applied online. I interviewed at US Postal Service (New York, NY) in Mar 2015
Interview
It was a process indeed I applied in January . I received email in Febraury for invite to interview/pre hire orientation . It was a group of maybe 30 people . They presented the application you filled out reviewed for errors then gave a description of the job and each individual had to do a 60 sec demo of carrying mail. Then you met with a manager one on one . Pretty brief question of experience and availability .
I applied in-person. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Bay Point, CA)
Interview
Process was fairly quick. Applied on 3/13 and by 3/29 I had an interview. When I got to the building it appeared to be between 100-150 people. After I was seated there was approx 50 people there. I interviewed first with HR, then the Post Master. He asked a few quick questions and was thorough about the position. He told me that he was going to strongly recommend me and the interview was over.
