Submitted application through LinkedIn and received a message about scheduling an interview. Took a 15 minute call where I was asked questions and given time to ask any questions that I had about the company or position.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TransPerfect (Varsovia, Mazovia) in Apr 2019
Interview
I have very mixed feelings about the interview process. I applied for the job myself and was later contacted by a person from their HR but in London (the job I was applying for was in Warsaw, Poland) we had a great chat, then I got 2 texts which I had to format and correct in various ways. After that, I was contacted again and invited for an interview in their office.
I went to the office and I met with 2 ladies there, they were nice and friendly but the conversation was sometimes awkward, sometimes tense a bit, they stressed couple of times how it's a fast-paced, very responsible job, how my boss would be in the UK and if any of that seems to be a problem for me. I worked remotely before so having bosses away was not a problem but I was supposed to earn 4k (PLN) gross so hearing about time-sensitive, high-responsibility work was a bit of a red flag for me. Still, the company itself is huge and seems well organized so I was still interested. The questions they were asking were the most "cliche'" questions an interviewer could ask but we all survived. Later I was scheduled to have a Skype interview with people from the UK office. They were late, they asked me about my weak and strong points, stressed again that my manager will be in UK and that it's a very responsible job.
Fortunately for me I got a much better offer and then contacted the HR lady and said I am not interested in the job anymore, so I don't know if I would have gotten it or not.

Question 1
How did you deal with a stressful situation at work?
The process took 3 months. I interviewed at TransPerfect
Interview
Such a long interview process, firstly got a phone call, then a 2-hour editing test and then the Skype interview with the team. After a month they said the position wasn't available anymore in the translation team, however they had the same position in another department. Had another phone call, another editing test and another Skype interview with the other team. Still no answer after three months. I just wander if each candidate goes through the same process for nothing.
