I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters (New York, NY) in Dec 2011
Interview
a phone screen and multiple in-house of interviews done on the same day. The whole process was smooth. Received an offer shortly after in-house interview. Interviews focused on C++ coding skills.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters (Beirut) in Dec 2013
Interview
First was a meeting with another senior developer and discussed technical details. We went very deep into the details to make sure that I knew what I was talking about. Discussed various ways to implement solutions. Next was a meeting with the head of technology department which was mostly non-technical questions but still relevant to the technology. After that was the final interview with the HR manager where questions were asked about personalities, team leading and conflict resolution. Not more than 2 weeks later I got a written offer.

Question 1
Q 1: How would you receive streaming data from one source and then display it on a website and keep the site updated in real-time ?
Q 2: If you are a manager and you have 2 members of the team fighting over a technical issue, how do you resolve it ?
It was a phone interview. It was supposed to be from the Technical Manager but apparently he was busy and some one from the team called. They did not even introduce themselves properly and started asking questions right away. Started asking about why I applied this job/my strengths. Felt like a company who does not value or take time to interview right people. Jumped into technical questions and was rushing to complete the interview.
