I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Container Store in Sep 2013
Interview
Applied online for a grand opening. Received an e-mail to schedule a group interview. Wanted us to bring in a picture of a product that would help us organize an area in our home (be creative with this part). There were 3 other people in the group interview and 3 people who worked for the company. They read from a packet about the company, showed us videos and had us respond to it. Interview lasted about an hour. Got called back the same day to schedule an one on one interview.

Interview
I applied and within a few weeks received an email inviting me to a group interview. This was followed up with a call inviting me to an individual interview about a week later.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
During the group interview, I was asked to discuss an organizing challenge that I face in my own life and then choose a product from the store that I thought would help me solve this problem. I was also asked to choose one word that I felt best described The Container Store and discuss my choice. The group interview was very low-key and informal.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Container Store (Washington, DC) in Jun 2012
Interview
I completed the online application and within the week I had a phone interview. The phone interview consisted of a thirty minute conversation. First we ran through some basic info (age, school, location), then we ran through some hypothetical scenarios, and finally some general chit-chat about myself.
