I interviewed at The Container Store (New York, NY)
Interview
I could not apply online, as the position was already closed. I dropped off my resume and was very impressed that the recruiter actually contacted my via email to let me know they had received the resume. Although the position was closed, they appreciated my interest. They didn't have to take time out to do that, so it speaks a lot about the company.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Container Store (Webster, TX) in Sep 2016

Emailed requesting Phone interview. Scheduled group interview from there. Presented an item from the website that I would use to organize my home. Watched videos about company. I had read most of the info on their website.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Container Store (Arlington, VA) in Feb 2015
Interview
The interview was fairly quick and easy. They discussed the installation process but more focused on customer satisfaction and the fact that I would be dealing with a very diverse group of customers. It was very important to that I wasn't going to have any issues dealing with people from all backgrounds and that I was polite and respectful and all times. Proper install was of course a concern as my job was to properly install the system but ensuring that the customer was happy and taken care was key.
