The Container Store interview questions

The process (when I was hired) was multiple interviews in the style of Fortune 500. You are reviewed by more than one manager and than a consensus decision is made. It is not easy to get hired. They look for a personality type coupled with strong experience in customer service. This is akin to being hired for an ivy league job with only 2% making it.

Started by applying like any normal job, I was given a phone interview and was interviewed by Gwendolyn Houston-Jack who was soooo rude and basically told me that this company doesn’t offer growth opportunities. She would ask a question I’d answer and then she would question my answer and pick at everything I said. I am great at interviews and I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in my life!! In so may words she said that I’d be stuck with the position I was applying for. I asked her “What would you say is the most difficult task in this position?” And she replied “there’s no task that’s difficult HAHA I’d would say our egos are just so big!” Terrible terrible “recruiter”. Advice to this company if you’re living by the principle “1 great person equals 3” then FIND A NEW RECRUITER!!!!
