I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Body Shop (Toronto, ON) in Sep 2016
Interview
Before the interview offer, I had to answer the most ridiculous set of 'logic' questions I have ever seen in my life. I don't see how those questions could mean anything to the employers and by the end I just wasn't even trying anymore because I didn't get it... Didn't think I would get an interview email/call but I did.
I entered the store and was told to go upstairs for the interview. I have done several group interviews before, but this one was by far the largest one I have attended. There were 12 of us in total and one manager. We first had to fill out availability forms and then were asked to answer questions about ourselves and why we want to work at TBS. I just felt a bit uncomfortable the whole time and thought the whole interview process was a little bit silly... But I guess from their perspective, its a good way to weed people out. We had to make an "advertisement" of a product in our groups of 6 people (which I think is way too big of a group) and had like 10 minutes to do it then present it together. We also had a question and answer session where the very strict uniform rules were laid out which I didn't know about really, they are quite detailed. I rated this interview as difficult not because it was actually HARD but because I found it challenging to take seriously and wanted to walk out a few times. Just felt a bit superficial to me.

Question 1
What do you know about the body shop?
Why do you want to work for the body shop?
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at The Body Shop (Londres, Inglaterra) in Dec 2015
Interview
I applied online and quickly received a call asking when I was about to have an interview. She was very welcoming and then, I was invited for a training day in Banbury (1 hour drive from where I lived). As I applied for a Christmas temp. at the time, the entire training day was focused all around Christmas with their products on a table, fake snow and mini Christmas trees surrounding us and chocolates all around the room! We were given chances to win products on the day which was a great insight as to what the company was really like.

Question 1
What values The Body Shop supported, their history, some information on my CV, what hours I could work and what times.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at The Body Shop (Mansfield, England) in Nov 2012
Interview
A very standard interview which involved a shop floor trial. Discussing many scenarios which refer back to actual experience. Usually involves only one interviewee and interviewer at a time. Was actually a very relaxed and enjoyable experience. Would be an advantage to research the brand first and also have some experience of the products they sell as you will be asked questions and expected to demonstrate them.
