I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Body Shop (Londres, Inglaterra) in Nov 2017
Interview
Applied online, received a call the next day asking to come in for an interview. Interview is pretty easy, I started on the shop floor, and was asked to stay by front and meet and greet customers. As long as you interact with the customers and don't just stand around, you'll be fine. Then after about 20/30 minutes, I went down for an interview which was pretty informal, as long as you come across as friendly and excited to work for them, it's pretty easy.
This is was probably the most unprofessionally and painfully quick interviews of my life. The hiring manager had no questions for me which I found to be odd as well as insulting seeing as she clearly didn't do any prep for our interview at all. The AVP literally sat with me for 5 mins before running off, which was unnecessary -- just don't come, what could you possible learn within 5 mins about a candidate?
Just want to note that I was not invited to phone interview at all which I found odd but decided to role with it, I thought it meant that they we're skilled and efficient interviewers which was quite the contrary.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at The Body Shop (Londres, Inglaterra) in Aug 2015
Interview
The process was divided into two sections; a trial on the shop floor, followed by a formal interview. In the trial I was asked to assist on the shop floor as well as leave the store to approach potential customers, in the hope of luring them into the store. The interview consisted of various questions which tested my knowledge of the brand and my personal view of the company.
