The Body Shop interview questions

It was a group interview where we sat round a table and had 5 minutes to get to know a few products then had to ‘sell’ them to the store manager. We were also given hand creams to give testers to the customers and talk to customers on the ship floor whilst they observed.

The interviewer told me over the phone to "wear all black" for my trial shift and interview. I wore black skinny jeans, a black jumper and Chelsea boots. On arrival I was lectured on how appropriate my outfit was and asked why I wasn't wearing smart wear, after telling the interviewer I was told "all black" over the phone she was very condescending and told me I'd misunderstood her. I hadn't.
