I applied online. I interviewed at Teach for America
Interview
I first filled out an application online and was directly invited to a final round interview. The final round was a long process, and consisted of multiple steps, but I received an offer and accepted.

Question 1
Tell us what skills you have that would make you a good teacher?
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Teach for America (Washington, DC) in Dec 2014
Interview
I applied online and then did an in-person interview with about 15 other applicants and 2 staff members. We each had to prepare a 5 minute lesson to demonstrate as the other applicants as our "class." We also had to have a mock school board discussion, as well as a 45 minute personal interview.

Question 1
Q: Describe an experience where you demonstrated leadership.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Teach for America in Feb 2017
Interview
I applied online on their website and then received an email asking to set up a phone interview of 45 minutes. I felt the phone call went very well; we spoke for over an hour. I was told that the next round of interviews would be scheduled in the next week. After that, I heard absolutely nothing. I sent a few emails to follow-up and again, heard nothing. I realize that recruiters are busy, but a little common courtesy would have been nice. After 3 weeks, I finally received a form email that they have decided to pursue other applicants.
