I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Teach for America
Interview
I went through the screening process, phone interview, and final interview. I didn't make it in, but it was a good experience
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
At the final interview, you are expected to do a short teaching presentation on a subject of your choice to the group. You are told to pretend like you are teaching a grade level of your choice, even if that is not the grade which you would want to teach.
The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Teach for America (Williamsburg, VA) in Feb 2012
Interview
Submitted application and bypassed phone interview. Interview day consisted of a presentation, group conversation, and 1:1 interview. The interviewers spent most of the time taking copious notes on every word said. 1:1 interview last about 45 minutes and included going over resume and small role play. Was less of a conversation; interviewer wrote down almost every word said. Interviewers were friendly and the interview was not stressful. However, my perception was that TfA continues to be all about "drinking its own KoolAid." Received and declined offer.

How would you talk to a principal about starting a new club?
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Teach for America (Columbus, OH) in Nov 2011
Interview
The interview process was tough. There was a phone interview and then the day long interview. Spent tons of time prepping, because this was the job I was looking for. Sadly, I was not offered a position, but feel the interview experience was overall positive.
