Interview
The full-day interview includes teaching demonstration, group discussion, and individual interview. For the teaching demonstration, it is imperative that you follow "I do, you do, we do" format. Don't ever just lecture at the kids. Also have something to assess the students' level of understanding. It is also important that you abide by the time limit; the interviewers will be very strict about that.

Interview
I currently live abroad and was able to do a phone interview via Skype.
My interviewer was very friendly.
Be prepared to answer questions that show off your ability as a Manager. They want to know you are capable of setting goals and reaching them.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Teach for America (Washington, DC) in Nov 2015
Interview
The application wasn't too bad, pretty much your typical "why do you want to serve?" There was also a phone interview, a "group interview" and a one-on-one person interview. I didn't really understand the purpose of the final interview, they basically asked me the same questions as the phone interview, verbatim.
The "group interview" was actually really cool, we each presented a planned lesson assignment lasting 5 minutes. Definitely nerve-wracking but it was my favorite part.
