The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Target (Fond du Lac, WI) in Jul 2009
Interview
I had three, one on one interviews with the management staff who recited "situational" questions from an interview booklet. It was obvious that they had no training on what to look for in a candidate, how to respond to a candidate, etc. I know now later after being on the interviewing side that employees are entirely picked by who they "like" best.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Name three things about your prior job experience in which you made a mistake. What was the mistake, who did it effect and how did you react to it and correct the situation
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target in Nov 2010
Interview
Got the interview through a job fair. Interviewed with them the very next day. Was asked situational questions. Such as, "tell me about a time when you had to go above and beyond to complete a project", "what is the biggest mistake you have made and what did you learn from it"...
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (Washington, DC) in Dec 2010
Interview
1. post resume on target.com
2. initial screening call w/ a member from HR
3. online test w/ questions ranging from math to managerial.
something to consider: try to find reviews on team lead jobs. as i did my research, i realized that this would not have been a good fit. like how weekends are done. or the # of hours you'll put in.
