Interview
Potential team leaders are interviewed three or four times, depending on experience. Often, they are required to interview with store managers from other stores in addition to their own manager. Questions are primarily behaviorial: "Tell me about a time when . . . ". Answers should be thorough, encompassing the event, the resolution, and what was learned.

Interview
I was an internal promotion from team member to team leader. The interview process took almost 6 weeks and I was put into the position I was applying for before I was promoted. It was good experience, however, I had very little support or training until my promotion was finalized. By then, the training was almost moot because I had learned most of my training by trial and error.
