The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Enfield, CT)
Interview
I have interviewed with my local Target about 40 times between the years of 2008 till November 2014. They've never hired me. It's really difficult and I'm not sure what they're looking for.
The hiiring and interview process were relatively standard experiences. There was nothing unique or outstanding about either or them that gave me pause or caused me to anticipate how poorly run the store is. I was asked typical interview questions, I responded appropriately and then I was given the paperwork to go take the drug test at an off-site lab.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target in Sep 2010
Interview
Went in, waited in the Starbucks of Target for about 15 minutes, managers seemed kind of unorganized. They took me into the back of the store and had an interview with a manager; they asked questions like, "Name a time when you..." "What would you do if...." questions like that. Then she said that she liked me and went to get the HR lady for my 2nd interview. Sat in the room by myself for about 15 more minutes, until HR finally came in. More questions, exactly like the ones before. At the end, she left and said she was going to get the store manager. Store manager came in and offered me a job. After, I left, I went and did the drug test. A couple of days later, I got called for orientation. I quit within a couple of months, and would not take the job again.
