I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Saint Louis, MO) in May 2011
Interview
I went in and I sat down in a chair. I talked to a guy for a little while about my life. I told him about how I have a dog and he told me all about his cat. Then he told me about a few rules and that kind of stuff. I had a look around the break room and what not.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Target (Blue Springs, MO) in Oct 2015
Interview
Application and interview process was quick. I applied online and had a call to set up and interview within a few days. I had an early morning interview with the Human Resources gal, who just asked a few basic questions and then told me that I would know if I got the job by phone call or email.
I applied online. I interviewed at Target (McDonough, GA) in Oct 2015
Interview
I applied online last week and the same day that I finished, the manager contacted me in 30 minutes about a job interview.
The people who interviewed me were very nice. The process was very easy and very painless, as long as you prepare yourself for the questions that they'll ask you (look at other interview reviews here via Glassdoor). Also, it would be wise, to dress accordingly (dress shoes, white pressed blouse, black pencil skirt/slacks...etc.).
Also, remember to smile and be confident and quick with your responses. If you don't understand the question, ask them. Always thank them for their time and be polite to them. And have a constant eye-to-eye contact. :)
Also, there will be two 1-on-1 interviews. Afterwards, an employee will pull you to the side and explain if you did receive the offer or not.
If you remember this, then you'll do great with the interview. Good Luck! :)
My position is seasonal and I was offered $9/hr.
